WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW NOW IN ORDER TO PLAN YOUR CHILD’S FUTURE
FEBRUARY 9, 1:30-3pm at BSC
Planning your child’s higher education begins in the early years of school. Which long term strategies will work out for your child? Which skills are currently relevant – and are likely to be always relevant – for college admissions? Which budding interests of your student should you seek to develop now in order to pave the way for future success in higher education? How do extracurricular activities figure in college admissions? Does community service matter to college admissions? What are some of the different college options that are available to students? How can future BSC graduates take full advantage of the opportunities their education will provide?
Choosing the right kind of college and attaining successful admission is a lengthy process. It requires that you understand the admissions process as it relates to your child. Admissions professionals from The University of Chicago, The University of Illinois, and Valparaiso University will familiarize you with some of the points you need to consider now when planning your child’s future. You will have plenty of opportunity to raise questions.
