BSW Year 6 students complete their Primary education

Year 6 graduation
On Tuesday, 2 July 2009, members of the British School of Washington Year 6 celebrated the end of their primary education. Joined by friends, past and present teachers, and families of the students, the Year 6 class reminisced about their time at BSW and while looking forward to the rest of their education. There was a DVD of pictures dating back to their very first days in Reception and Nursery followed by the formal presentation of certificates by Mr Peter Harding, head of the school. This formal ceremony was followed by a celebration.
As part of their graduation project, students have contacted all of those who have been in the classes since they began in 2001. They received replies from over twenty past students and put them together with the current students' own memories to form a memory book. It was a unique and interesting experience to find out where past students were and what their BSW experience meant to them.
