College and University Placement

The College Counsellor and School Liaison Officer, Mr. Simon Bird, assists all secondary students through the college decision and application process for students wishing to attend university in the US, UK, Canada or explore other international opportunities. Mr. Bird also arranges college admissions representative visits, and opportunities for students to talk to recent graduates about their college experiences. An annual, school-based SAT test preparation course is arranged for all students planning on applying to American colleges and universities while the tests themselves are taken at a local centre. The PSAT, a preliminary SAT-style test for Year 10 and 11 students is also offered at the school once a year for students in preparation for the SAT exams and potential eligibility for National Merit Scholarships.
