Inspection/Accreditation

The British School of Boston had a review at the end of its first year of operation and a full OFSTED-style inspection in its 5th year, both carried out by Fieldwork International. The main purpose of the reviews is to look at the quality of children's learning and the quality of teaching which contribute to that learning. As an independent school we are not eligible for official OFSTED inspection as carried out in State-run schools in the UK, but we opt to pay for a private inspector to conduct an inspection as if it were in a State School.

Summaries of the reviews are available here:

The British School of Boston is accreditated by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the IB Diploma Programme and will welcome our first IB class in September 2009.
