Inspection/Accreditation
The British American School of Charlotte had a review at the end of its first year and will have a full OFSTED-style inspection in its fifth year, both carried out by Fieldwork International. The main purpose of the reviews is to look at the quality of children's learning and the quality of teaching which contribute to that learning. As an independent school we are not eligible for official OFSTED inspection as carried out in State-run schools in the UK, but we opt to pay for a private inspector to conduct an inspection as if it were in a State School.
