Admissions
We are delighted that you are considering the British School of Houston for the education of your child. The British School of Houston attracts children both from the local and international communities. Therefore, from time to time children may be re-located abroad at short notice. For this reason we operate a rolling admissions programme. Our main intake is at the beginning of the academic year, but we are able to admit children as and when a space becomes available throughout the year.
Since the school accepts students on a rolling admissions process, it is an advantage for the candidate to submit an early application. Acceptance or rejection of a candidate is made when his or her application is complete. However, please note that the following will be taken into consideration: Siblings are given priority, although places cannot be guaranteed and we seek to maintain an even balance of the sexes, and may give priority to children of the minority sex where there is an imbalance in an individual class.
The British School of Houston reserves the right to exclude children whose behaviour or educational needs cannot be met by the school.
Unfortunately applications cannot be considered unless accompanied by the non-refundable registration fee and all appropriate paperwork.
We have set out our registration and enrolment procedures but would suggest that you contact our office to schedule a visit and tour. If you are in Houston, this is the best way to see the what our school is all about.
If you are relocating to Houston, please be sure to check out the information provided by our Connections Team!
