Transportation
The British School of Washington provides bus service to families in and around Washington DC through Alliance Premier, Inc.
Take the bus during the 2007-2008 school year! The British School of Washington offers bus transportation on selected routes throughout its service area. Stops are scheduled at common collection points. Buses generally leave their first morning pick-up location around 7:10am, make a number of stops and arrive at BSW around 8:10am. Buses depart BSW at 3:45pm and arrive at their last destination at approximately 4:35pm.
Bus transportation is currently being offered to the following general areas surrounding the Washington Metropolitan area:
- Arlington, VA
- Annandale, VA
- N. Arlington, VA
- Falls Church, VA
- Mclean, VA
- The Palisades, DC
- Wesley Heights, DC
- Spring Valley, DC
- Georgetown, DC
- Foggy Bottom, DC
- Chevy Chase, DC & MD
- Bethesda, MD
- World Bank, DC
- International Monetary Fund, DC
- Embassy Row, DC
Please note that routes will change as ridership changes - routes may not be the same each year. If we have not offered bus service in your area before, please request a stop in your area. These requests are the only way we have of gauging where additional routes are needed.
