Assembly
Children attend regular assemblies in school. Our assemblies have no religious content but aim to incorporate a moral message for the children. With the gathering of the whole school it is also a time to provide information and notices about life in school.
Once a term each of the classes has the opportunity to conduct assembly, and to share with the rest of school, work that has been covered in class. Assembly is used as an opportunity to reward both outstanding effort and/or achievement with the award of certificates to particular children throughout the school.
This is a time for the children to share their achievement as well as recognise the achievement of others.
