The options as they are set out allow for pupils to tailor their Diploma course of study to their own personal needs and wishes.

The small teaching groups here at the British School of Washington will allow a tutorial atmosphere to pervade throughout formal instructional sessions. Due to the small nature of the upper school as a whole, faculty members are very accessible to the students throughout the academic day should they need help with assigned tasks.
