‘Connections' is a diverse group of experienced and outgoing parents, founded solely to assist new families to settle in quickly and successfully into the British School of Houston and the greater Houston community. Our members strive to be effective ambassadors for BSH whist responding to the varied expectations and needs of new families.

Member Roles and Responsibilities
Connections Team members strive to continually improve the 'quality of service' available to new families joining the British School of Houston by providing friendly, competent, responsive and professional transitional support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend Connection Team meetings and New Family Coffees as required.
- Assist other Connection Team members as required at Team Meetings by general knowledge sharing in relation to new BSH family questions and concerns relating to BSH and local area(s).
- Respond in a timely manner to the request for assistance from new families joining BSH.
- Be a good ambassador for BSH by having a positive, helpful and professional attitude in relation to duties and responsibilities of this role.
- Actively assist new BSH families in designated areas of residence as much as is reasonably practicable.
- Actively seek continuous improvement opportunities in relation to the BSH Connections Team.
Team meetings are scheduled in accordance with the Admissions Director and Connections Team Coordinator in order to: seek guidance and support as required; discuss continuous improvement opportunities; improve and encourage Team cohesiveness; discuss concerns.
