My husband and I have been very pleased with the early childhood education that our son, Liam (age 5) is receiving.  The small school setting allows for a nurturing and safe environment.   Liam looks forward to going to school everyday.    The curriculum challenges each child individually.  Several learning styles are taught to ensure all children understand a lesson.

The teachers are phenomenal!  A few weeks into the new school year Liam came home after school and told us all about the immigration of  Pilgrims from England to Plymouth, Massachusetts.  Liam explained what he learned that day with such enthusiasm and detail.  My husband and I looked at each other and not only felt proud of him, but also felt confident that we made the best choice of schools for our son.

Another important quality that we found the BASC offers is cultural diversity.  Coming from a large city we found that Charlotte schools are not as diversified as we are accustomed to.  The BASC not only attracts families from all around the globe that relocate to Charlotte, but also incorporates global studies into their daily curriculum.  Having worked on many international projects in my own career I value how important it is to expose children to foreign studies.

Lastly,  we have found that the BASC is willing to make changes as needed.  We are very pleased that the school takes parent's concerns seriously and listens to fresh ideas.  We have found that other schools are often stuck in their ways and resist change.  We applaud the BASC for recognizing the need for change in todays world and for their efforts to continuously improve.
