World Class Learning Scholarship

The British School of Boston (BSB) is proud to offer a unique scholarship programme available to students in the inaugural BSB International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme class of 2010. BSB will welcome its first cohort of International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) Candidates in September 2008. The IBDP is internationally recognised as a highly rigorous academic course giving children an excellent preparation for university. Students in the IBDP take courses in six academic areas and must complete required service hours, an extended essay and a course in the Theory of Knowledge.
The BSA World Class Learning Scholarship will be awarded to 6 academically-talented, highly motivated pupils in the class of 2010. The programme awards its Scholars 70% of the tuition and examination fees for the two years of the IBDP course at the British School of Boston.
For 2008, Scholars will be awarded $18,075 towards the tuition and examination fees of $25,825. Scholars will be responsible for $7,750 in tuition and examination fees for the 2008/2009 academic year. Tuition fees are invoiced half yearly. The first half of these fees will be due within 30 days of acceptance of the Scholarship. The second half of the fees are invoiced in November, with payment due by December 1st.
For 2009, Scholars will be awarded 70% of the 2009/2010 tuition and examination fees. Examination fees are invoiced for all students in Year 13. Tuition fees are invoiced half yearly. The first half of these fees will be invoiced in May, with payment due by June 1st, 2009. The second half of the fees are invoiced in November, with payment due by December 1st, 2009.

- Mathematics - 45 minutes
- English - 1 hour
- Science - 45 minutes
- General Paper - 45 minutes
Once the Admissions Office has received your Registration Form and Applicant Statement, you will be contacted to schedule an interview and examination.
